CSA Upcoming Events

Winter brings it's own beauty but how lovely it is to see the vibrancy of Spring, new life and colours everywhere you look. Warm enough even for some 'in person' events taking place outside to begin populating our events calendar. We look forward to meeting more of you as this year progresses.

I'm writing this from Southern UK, but hope wherever you are and whatever time zone you work to, the seasonal variations bring positive changes and new energy to you and all those around you.

Aware of Awareness and its qualities in coaching supervision

Hosted by CSA Faculty Member Will Medd

Will Medd

Awareness is one of those words that we often use quite freely along with its close relatives of being present, mindful, openness and so on. Whether we’re dropping down the “U”, sailing the seven eyes, moving through a drama triangle, or sitting in relational presence, cultivating awareness is at the heart of our supervision.

This webinar will offer an experiential exploration of ‘awareness’ as ever present and available in ways that are neither claiming an impossible transcendental state nor an infinitely regressive thinking loop! We’ll be exploring the wonderful qualities that emerge when we turn attention into being aware of awareness itself.

22nd March 08:00 - 09:30 (London) Aware of Awareness

24th March 14:00 - 15:30 (London) Aware of Awareness

Dr Alison Hodge is a member of the CSA Executive and Senior Faculty member, she has been working and contracting with learning groups as both participant and facilitator since 1985.

Two Part Experiential Workshop to explore Contracting with Supervision with Dr Alison Hodge

“Contracting” in supervision is a fascinating and complex discipline for us all to master. Contracting with groups of coaches is an order of magnitude more complex. We would like to invite you to a live experience in contracting to extend your flexibility and strengthen your capacity to build safe containers for your supervisees.

This two-part exploration of the diverse phenomena that may exist as a group of external coaches come together for group supervision will be held twice, hopefully accommodating those in different time zones

Multiple intelligences in individual and collective supervision

with CSA Faculty Member Jean-François Thiriet

What if "You can’t solve a problem at the level of consciousness that created it" meant "you can’t solve a problem with the same intelligence that created it"?

Sometimes problem solving and reflective practices are about making the leap to other intelligences to explore uncharted territories and find the gem in the stone where it was hiding.

In this workshop, we’ll explore first the premises of a generative supervision space to create the container for these multi intelligence practices. Then the importance to be in a resonant state.

There is a good deal of emotional trauma surrounding these conversations. Feelings of loss sadness and overwhelm can often arise. The aim of this course is to support participants to feel better equipped to deal with these strong emotions and to share experience and delve into climate science in a safe environment.

"Going through this CSA Supervision training is like a hero’s journey to finally discover that Who you are is how you supervise. Curiously it made my coaching practice more alive and grounded. It also got me to practice exactly the kind of work I really wanted and was made to do.

The trainers I had the privilege to be taught by  are world class supervisors and very humble teachers. This training is already a place to experiment supervision and get a sense of what it’s like. And the CSA models and content are just eye opening and so generative. I feel so grateful for this training"

Words alone seem powerless from us as the scope of this tragedy unfolds. We hope those who continue working in peace talks find the language to bring this conflict to an end. Our thoughts remain always with the innocent suffering in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
