CSA and The Beyond Partnership are delighted to offer a new workshop:

What is Polyvagal Theory and How is it Relevant to Coaching?

After several years of living and working in a pandemic world, you may be noticing a sea change in the nature of the challenges that your clients are bringing. Polyvagal Theory, a scientific theory that helps us understand the biological basis of all human social behaviour, provides a lens that can help us and our clients navigate these challenges.

Polyvagal Theory, created by neuroscientist Stephen Porges, has had a significant impact in the therapeutic word in recent years, in large part due to the work of therapist and author Deb Dana. If you are curious to learn more about its relevance to coaching, we invite you to join us on August 25 from 14:00 – 17:00 BST for a workshop with coaches Kerry Cullen and Sandra Dunsmore

Polyvagal Theory is a new frontier in the coaching world. Kerry and Sandra have been collaborating with Deb for several years, and at her suggestion, have developed a 20-hour experiential programme Polyvagal Theory and Practice for Coaches: The Fundamentals (link to full programme). The inaugural programme, hosted by Beyond Partnership, will be offered starting September 29.

CSA is hosting this 3-hour workshop designed to give participants an introduction to Polyvagal Theory. The workshop will explore the basic organizing principles and their relevance to coaching. It will incorporate short presentations, personal reflection, sharing in pairs and in the larger group. If this piques your interest, we look forward to welcoming you on August 25.

This event is offered free of charge

To assist us to plan and allocate resources please register to attend.

For anyone who, after this workshop or who might already be looking for a more in depth exploration of this topic The Welcome Partnership are offering a 20-hour programme consisting of six three-hour modules in 2022 plus a two-hour integration session early in 2023. More information available here
