Opposites in the space of supervision

Playing with ‘opposites’ offers a simple, powerful yet overlooked tool for cultivating awareness in coaching supervision.

As coach supervisors we are familiar with exploring forms of ‘reframing’, for example reframing self-limiting beliefs or self-narratives. The assumption is often that we need to replace something less good with one that is better - whether somatic experience, emotion, thought, belief, narrative. Yet the world of opposites has so much more to offer and is always available. Instead of seeking to replace or reframe, in this experiential webinar, we'll explore what happens when we hold opposites together in the same moment, what happens when we let them go, and how opposites offer an interesting pointer to the place of the observer and wider field of awareness.

This session will explore experientially how opposites can show up and their role as a tool in supervision for opening up possibility.

Host: Will Medd

Will is a CSA Tutor, Supervisor, Coach and Meditation teacher. While intellectually opposites have long been of interest, he stumbled across opposites in their full effect while learning iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation Training - based on non-dual approaches to life - and realised how powerful they are to work with experientially, to free up possibility. He brings to this session a curiosity to see what opposites will reveal for you as we can inquire together.

Joining: This is a 90 minute webinar - please hold the date/time - The zoom link will be sent the day before the session
