Facilitated by EDNA MURDOCH, Co-Founder and CEO of CSA - Please click here to contact Edna if you would like to be considered for the next group.

A series of 6 sessions, each lasting 90 minutes designed for a maximum group of 5 people.

Groups are great places in which to learn. I love running them and I love learning in them. I have run supervision groups for many years now – groups for supervisors, coaches and internal coaches.

Into this group, you can bring client work, contractual conversations, coaching themes, critical incidents in your work, personal reflections and anything else that you feel might be useful for you to talk about in supervision.  I want you to feel that whatever your musings are or whatever your coaching enquiries are, you can bring them into the room; you do not have to look only at client issues. I really want the learning space to be open and for you to feel free to explore whatever you need to in order to return to your work refreshed and resourced.

    Delivery:

This skills development series will be delivered in a webinar format via Zoom conference link. Don't worry if you are not familiar with this process. Our team will be on hand to offer assistance and guide you through the sign on process.

Please contact Edna if you would like to be considered for the next group.

Miranda Rock introduces a new Supervision Group for Coaches

As a CSA Accredited supervisor, who is experienced with groups, I am setting up a new group for coaches who want to develop, deepen and elevate their practice. Supervision in a Group provides a unique opportunity for learning and development of ourselves as coaches, bringing with it the chance to learn from others, to broaden our own thinking and to understand something about the dynamics, conscious and unconscious that arise in relationships of all kinds. In our coaching, whether with individuals or teams, there will be underlying dynamics at play.

When not attended to these have the potential to act as blocks to the coaching process, but when worked with explicitly they can really deepen and develop the quality of the work.

“I’ve been in Supervision with Miranda for several years now, and have grown immeasurably as a professional with her undivided attention and support."

The group, which will commence in the Autumn, will limit numbers to 4 -6 coaches. It will take place on Zoom, once in every 2 months, and will last for 1.5 hours, at a charge of £100 per session. Timings will be arranged to accommodate different time zones.

Please click here to download a more detailed description of the group

If you’d like to learn more, do please email miranda@cwgsy.net

I really look forward to hearing from you and discussing whether this might be the right opportunity for you in your own stage of development.

series of short reflective dialogues by conference call, from September 2021

To reserve your place please contact me at Amanda@originate.org.uk

The series is six purposeful purposeful ‘breathing spaces’ for a small group of leaders and practitioners, in which we will reflect on our leadership practice and reconnect with our leadership spirit.

    Together, we’ll:

    • Use pieces from my recent book, Weekly Leadership Contemplationsas a framework for exploring our recent leadership experiences; and

    • Enjoy the ‘food for thought’ generated by the sort of conversations with kindred spirits that may have recently been in short supply.

The monthly sessions will be 90 minutes in duration, scheduled for 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon to offer a precious yet practical oasis of companionship and thoughtful conversation. Places are limited to four.

The sessions will be shaped by the four section headings from Weekly Leadership Contemplations. Over the series, you will choose a piece from the relevant section as the basis for your personal inquiry. The pieces are around 600 words long (a 3-minute read) supported by contemplation questions to stimulate reflection. In our calls we’ll share individual experiences and insights and collectively explore any themes that arise, aiming to sow seeds that germinate and continue grow between sessions.

    The dates and themes are:

    1. Wednesday 22 September 2021, 4pm - 5.30pm: gathering, check-in, scene setting

    2. Wednesday 20 October 2021, 4pm - 5.30pm: self-leadership

    3. Wednesday 24 November 2021, 4pm - 5.30pm: leadership in conversations

    4. Wednesday 12 January 20221, 4pm - 5.30pm: leadership perspectives

    5. Wednesday 9 February 2022, 4pm - 5.30pm: leading and learning

    6. Wednesday 9 March 2022, 4pm – 5.30pm: harvesting and closing

The fee for the programme is £450 per person, payable on booking. Until 30 June 2021, there is an early bird price of 6 sessions for the price of 5, giving a programme fee of £375. You will also need a copy of Weekly Leadership Contemplations.

For the conference calls, my facility provides local numbers for dialling in from many countries. To check your location or to request a booking form, please contact me at Amanda@originate.org.uk or via LinkedIn

CSA Graduate Martin Vogel and Hetty Einzig are opening a new round of eco-systems supervision focussed on supporting practitioners as society’s response to the pandemic enters a new phase. If you are a coach or practitioner whose work involves supporting people, we invite you to join this programme of group supervision sessions. Depending on circumstances we plan to offer a blended model of online and face-to-face sessions.

Our innovative approach fosters awareness of the eco-systems in which we are located and the influence we can bring to bear on them as individuals. It encourages an integration of our identities as people, practitioners and citizens.

The pandemic and the economic recession it has triggered provoke a range of often conflicting emotions. Sacrifices will be demanded of us and professional and personal choices will need to be made as the recession bites. Coaching professionals can play in important role in helping people navigate the choices ahead. But we will need to take care of ourselves and be adaptive. Old certainties have fallen away, new openings will emerge.

We are offering monthly sessions of three hours with a break in the middle. And we will respond flexibly to the group’s needs as situations unfold. The sessions address a mixture of thematic group content and supervision of individual practice issues.

Our approach is values-based, collaborative and experimental – exploring coaching practice within the context of wider societal and environmental considerations. At this time when all of humanity is simultaneously facing trauma at several levels, it could not be more timely. We draw also on our backgrounds in transpersonal coaching, bodywork, creative work, mindfulness, and psychodynamic theory and practice.

From Doug Montgomery and Liz Nottingham

    Why

Now, more than ever, we coaches need a safe space to pause, reflect and refresh ourselves.  Group Coach Super-Vision provides just such a space.

Much of the “former normal” we took for granted is slipping away to reveal what is important; what is really important. The path ahead is one of uncertainty and potential risk as well as opportunity.  Leaders we talk to are noticing change in the behaviour of their teams and challenging how they think about their leadership.

    What

The Coach Super – Vision* we offer is a facilitated learning partnership founded on strong relational presence that will enable and deepen your own reflective practice. We think of coach super-vision as a multi-perspective Super form of Vision, that brings multiple lenses through which to view and explore you and your coaching practice.

by Martin Vogel & Hetty Einzig

In response to the COVID-19 emergency CSA graduate Martin Vogel is working with Hetty Einzig opening a new round of eco-systems supervision focussed on supporting practitioners through this time of personal and systemic turbulence.

Our innovative approach fosters awareness of the eco-systems in which we are located and the influence we can bring to bear on them as individuals. It encourages an integration of our identities as practitioners and citizens. The current crisis triggers a range of often conflicting emotions. It demands sacrifices of us as members of society. It also calls on us to first take care of ourselves before defining what our contribution can be. Old certainties have fallen away, new openings will emerge. There is an imperative to find reflective space to support wise interventions, restraining the impulse to forge answers prematurely.

This group is for experienced practitioners wishing to deepen their connection and contribution through their work at this turbulent time.
