    Will Medd

Looking for one more person to join North America Supervision Group:

Being with the Unknown - Group Supervision with Will Medd

Opportunity for experienced coaches/coach supervisors to join a new supervision group in service of who you are and the work you offer. The intention is to create and commit to a space in which we explore the unknown, uncertain, and emergent from a place of generative and collective awareness. Light, open, fun, playful, creative, spacious, experimental, vulnerable, warm, gentle while moving between surface and depth. If we knew what this space would bring to us, we wouldn't be entering with the openness of inquiry that will be the very quality of the offering.

Will brings a rich experience in holding space with groups in ways that have been described as ‘simple yet deep' while being “authentic, spacious, inquiry driven and warm-hearted”. He brings a combination of his coaching, supervision and meditation experience and loves the dance between the cognitive, emotional and somatic experience, as well as how we move in and out of the awareness that connects us to the mystery of life. He is currently lead facilitator for CSA in the UK. More about Will at www.willmedd.com

Practicalities - we will be a group of 5 (including Will) meeting on Zoom approximately every 6 weeks for 2 hours. The commitment is for 6 sessions, the first being contracting and setting the stage.

Cost - £100 per person, per session.

For a conversation to see if this is right for you, please email Will - willmedd@gmail.com

Two new Supervision groups forming soon with CSA Faculty and former  program leader in North America – Sam Magill

Dates for the first group – with one remaining space – are

    April 3, May 1, June 4, July 31, August 28 and September 18

All sessions begin at 10 AM Pacific Time

Dates for the second group – with four remaining spaces – are

May 15, June 19, September 25, October 23 and November 27. The sixth session’s date will be determined by the group.

All sessions begin at 11:30 AM Pacific Time

Groups are structured to have six, two-hour meetings – one per month.

Sam studied with CSA in the 2009-2010 program in London and quickly adopted CSA’s hallmark metaphor: Supervision is like a walk in the garden. Though virtual, these sessions provide an encounter with one’s self, with others, and with art in all it’s forms in which we discover fresh ways of understanding our work. Using one of Sam’s favorite expressions, the sessions emphasize presence over performance and discovery over past knowledge. What model or theory will we use? That depends on the case being explored.

For more details please contact Sam via his profile page or by email to sam@sammagill.com

Group Supervision with CSA Accredited Supervisors, Lynne De Lay and Ken Giglio is back on March 14th!

These monthly sessions are a great opportunity to reflect on coaching cases together with colleagues to gain insights into your work with clients. Coach participants have shared that the group reflection approach, or group presence, as Lynne and Ken call it, enabled “thought partnership,” “many Ah-Has,” and “new ways of understanding myself as a coach and my clients.”

These sessions are for any internal or external coaches that are looking to bring their best coach self to their clients. Ken and Lynne are accepting a max of 12 coaches for each session, who have at least 3-years of experience coaching clients. Coaches can sign up when they wish and for as many sessions as they wish. The cost per session is $75. There is no fixed membership – sessions are open to all coaches who meet the criteria above.

CSA Faculty Member and Accredited Supervisor Dr Alison Hodge

From February 2023, I’m starting a new virtual coaching supervision group for up to 5-6 experienced coaches/supervisors who would like to come together to explore and reflect on different aspects of your personal and professional development.

    Themes that may arise include:

    • What is the coaching/supervision development edge that I want to explore for myself?
    • How can I work best in complex, ‘messy’ organisational systems?
    • What is the impact of our supervisor-supervisee relationships on my practice with my clients?
    • How can I keep myself fit for practice?

We’ll explore recurring themes, give and receive feedback around your client issues and your own personal presence. Sometimes we’ll draw on what is happening in the group to inform us about your clients and the systems they are working in. The group will enable you to recharge your batteries in the supportive learning environment we co-create.

Andra MorosiGroup Supervision & Reflective Practice for Eco-active / Eco-engaged coaches with CSA Faculty member Andra Morosi

More and more coaches are supporting clients engaged in the ecological transitions, whether on a personal or professional level. The systemic dimensions of this type of work and the various levels of complexity involved require specific attention, mindful presence and a deeper enquiry of how we as coaches show up, how vigilant we are with the ethical boundaries of our profession and how we attend to the potential edge effects.

This opportunity offers groups, structured to have monthly 90 mins meetings for a minimum of 6 months. The dates and times are determined with the group after the first session planned on September 30th. Each group is open to minimum 4 and maximum 6 participants.

Andra is located in Normandy, France and completed the CSA Supervision Diploma in 2018; she is a tutor on both English-speaking and French-speaking CSA programmes.

    Sam Magill

Group Supervision with Sam Magill is described as sacred, safe and loving. It is rich, varied and resources and a place where perspectives are shared without attachment. Metaphors to embody cases are often held by the entire group and nurtured in a way that matures the first image into a living presence in the group. Participants tend to be very senior coaches and are often CSA graduates. The work is eclectic in approach, drawing on a wide variety of frameworks and resources.

Groups are structured to have six, two-hour meetings – one per month. The dates and times are determined with the group at an initial orientation meeting. Many groups agree to additional sessions.

New groups are forming for Fall, 2022. Each has a minimum of four and maximum of six members.

Sam is located in the Pacific Northwest of North America and sessions are usually held in the morning, Pacific Time so people from Europe can attend. Sam completed CSA training in 2010 and pioneered supervision training as co-director of CSA North America until 2021.
