CSA Profile

Introduction
Specialism in being in relationship in supervision, including with Nature as Dynamic Co-Partner
About me
First and foremost, I focus on connecting with my supervisees in relationship, co-creating a safe container for us to make meaning together and to explore as yet undiscovered 'truths' - in the service of self as instrument and clients/client systems.

I have strong personal values – integrity, authenticity, compassion and transparency – which are reflected in how I meet my supervisees. I love to work creatively, even virtually, in order to access the unconscious quickly and thereby accelerate sustained change - this may include integrating Nature as a mirror to the inner landscape, playing with metaphors or bringing other perspectives into the supervision space. Supervisees particularly value this, plus my gentle but incisive style.

As background, my organisational roles included responsibility for leadership development, organisational development and coaching within complex systems such as the NHS, Cabinet Office and social care.

I now have an international practice (working in English and German) as independent supervisor, coach and leadership consultant. Current organisational clients include Black Mountain HR, Sussex Police, Maple Power, Cats Protection.

I have a diverse private portfolio of supervision clients, both individuals and closed groups (eg a specialist group 'In Relationship'). I am also a supervisor for Sanctus, supporting coaches in open groups with their mental health coaching in partner organisations. I spent 5 years as Master Coach and Supervisor for Frontline, a charity training social workers, and supervised approx 25 supervisors concurrently nationwide in a high risk and emotionally charged environment.

My passion for the natural world has led me to integrate this into my practice. I deliver masterclasses and specialist supervision for coaches, supervisors and therapists, working with Nature as Dynamic Co-partner. I have also authored a chapter in 'Coaching Supervision Groups: Resourcing Practitioners', ed. Jo Birch.

I am skilled in creating psychological safety in order to invite, and hold, the difficult conversations and am accredited in the Psychological Safety Index, supporting teams to benchmark their journey towards deeper trust and dialogue.

My coaching portfolio extends from clients seeking high performance (eg working with Chief Executives and top teams to optimise leadership impact) through to mental health conversations, offering a safe space at the threshold with counselling for individuals to explore their vulnerability and possibilities for change.

Please do contact me for an exploratory conversation - I look forward to meeting you!
